Dolly Parton

Country music legend Dolly Parton is considered by some to be the queen of plastic surgery.

The famous singer-songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur was born January 19, 1946 to an impoverished family of 12 children.

She has written 25 number one hit singles including her signature hit, “I Will Always Love You.” She is known for her over-the-top style: sexy clothes, platinum blonde wigs, high heels, and lots of makeup.

I modelled my look after the town tramp,” Dolly famously quipped. Her Barbie doll looks have made many of her fans curious about her usage of plastic surgery.

Dolly Parton – ‘Enhanced’ By Cosmetic Surgery?

Celebrity gossip magazines frequently speculate about Dolly Parton’s plastic surgery procedures and her enormous bosom.  The truth is there is no need for any speculation as Dolly herself has admitted that she’s gone under the knife on countless occasions.

Here she is on Larry King Live in 2003.

She has always had a curvaceous figure but her bust size has been dramatically enhanced. Dolly has been open about her breast augmentation surgeries saying, “People always ask me if they’re mine. Yes, they are…all bought and paid for.

It is rumored that she has had multiple breast augmentation surgeries, to increase and decrease her bust size, and several breast lifts.

Dolly Parton may have had multiple facial plastic surgery procedures. In 2003, she told Oprah that, “If I have one more facelift, I’ll have a beard.

It is speculated that her facial surgeries have been extensive: a brow lift, chin implant, rhinoplasty, upper and lower blepharoplasties (eyelid lifts), facial fat grafting, Botox, chemical peels, and lip fillers.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a well known Los Angeles plastic surgeon told website MakeMeHeal.com that, “Dolly Parton looks as though she had a great deal of facial work done.

Fans are hoping that Dolly learns a lesson from her friend Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeries and doesn’t dramatically alter her appearance.

Dolly Parton Before and After?

Dolly is rumored to have begun her plastic surgery journey in the 1980s.  Therefore, we have provided a video comparison of Dolly singing her most famous number firstly from 1974 and then later in 2002 and finally in :

She opted for a breast augmentation procedure after losing weight and becoming unhappy with her changed breasts. Her naturally ample bosom expanded to an impressive size.

Dolly once observed, “I’m in showbiz. I look at my boobs like they’re show horses or show dogs. You’ve got to keep them groomed.” Some fans consider her altered appearance to be a grotesque caricature of the beautiful woman she once was.

Is Dolly An Example of Surgery Gone Wrong?

Websites that post bad plastic surgery stories frequently use Dolly as an example.

She is often featured on sites that show disastrous celebrity plastic surgery before and after photos, such as pictures of Joan River’s plastic surgery evolution.

Despite the concerns expressed by the public, Dolly seems to be pleased with her results and claims that she is keeping up appearances for her fans.

New York Magazine quoted her saying, “If you’ve got the money and you’re going to be out there, you owe it to people not to look like a dog if you can help it.

It seems that Dolly Parton will continue to use plastic surgery to keep up her glamorous appearance.

“It seems that Dolly Parton will continue to use plastic surgery to keep up her glamorous appearance.” My reply is: But does she not see that her appearance is no longer glamorous when she has a face that won’t smile, lips that are unnaturally puffed up, and it is no longer pretty? It is counter-productive. She should have some of that botox drawn out by a plastic surgeon who knows what he/she is doing. She is also poisoning herself with all those chemicals. I have to close my eyes and just listen to her still bell-like voice, because it is heartbreaking to look at her botched face. She is beautiful enough and doesn’t have to be a perennial 25-year-old. A nice-looking 55 would be just as fine. There is a syndrome with celebrities who feel they have to live up to the fans’ expectations. All we really expect is that they love to play and sing for us.

  2. The lady is afraid of looking old. She is not doing it for her fans, she is doing it for herself. She looks hideous now. Once a beautiful woman, she looks like a freak now.

  3. It is so sad to look at Dolly Parton now and see how weird and even spooky she looks. I can’t stand to look at her. Because of her vanity and ridiculous choices that have rendered her looking ugly, I find that I no longer can respect her but just pity her!

  4. Dolly looks horrible! Way too much plastic surgery has really made her look “plastic”. I agree with you, Jill, she looks like a freak now.
Why can’t people just accept the aging process? I’ve earned every single white hair and wrinkle that I have and I love being called “Grami”!

  5. I agree with each and every one of I couldn’t have said it better myself!

  6. Money, vanity, obsession to be something you are not coupled with a degenerated brain and social media proves— over and over that far too many people have lost their minds. Most are far too hopeless for a recovery.

Dolly seems to be a beautiful lady, inside and out. I do think she has gone too far with the Botox, and / or whatever. I hope she stops, or even removes some, if that is even possible. She has a magical voice and personality.

Some of the comments are rather cruel.

To me it appears Dolly is a very rich yet very “LONELY” woman. She may have learned late in life how important other things are. Perhaps the fact that she has no children may have create a mid-life crisis and to see herself age with no children in her life may be to hard to bear.
She is such a loving, “Unselfish” person; just google on the much giving she has provided. Even if she is happily married, sometimes a spouse can only give you so much comfort.

Look past her outward appearance and see her young and beautiful heart. Then look in the mirror and behold your own image. Are you in great health for your age? If the answer is yes, then that is great. If the answer is no then why not? Why haven’t you done something about your body so others won’t have to look at you and say “MY GOD! They are really falling apart for their age; just look at all those wrinkles. I should buy them a Hamilton-Beach iron for Christmas.

    I’m just saying.
