No one will argue that the death of the late Whitney Houston was a tragedy, and most would agree that she looked beautiful, especially considering her past and her age.
However, it has been reported by Fox News that two weeks before she died Whitney Houston attempted to get plastic surgery; a facelift to be specific on the procedure.
According to the source cited by Fox though Houston was turned down for the procedure because she failed a standard medical examination for her liver, heart and lung.
It is unconfirmed what Houston did about these findings, just as the exact cause of her death is as of yet unconfirmed by those investigating the star’s death.
Dr. Marc Mani is the surgeon that Houston was supposed to have gone to for her surgery, but he has declined to speak about anything on the grounds of patient and doctor confidentiality. Which, given all of the current clamming due to Houston’s very recent passing is common at this point in time.
However, for those that are genuinely burning with curiosity as to what happened and what procedures that Houston did or didn’t get done (or try to get done), there will be plenty of celebrity plastic surgery questions asked at a later date.
It’s become a fairly common assumption that you only get the truth about Hollywood plastic surgery after the star or starlet’s been dead and the doctors in question are now free to discuss what happened during their life.
It’s how we found out about Marilyn Monroe’s cosmetic surgery after all, and the procedures that crafted her face into the icon of movie star perfection that we’ve all come to know and recognize at a glance. Whitney Houston, like many other stars, may have her secrets exhumed, but that can wait.
